Chequamegon Bay Smallmouth Bass
Chequamegon Bay is one of the best Smallmouth Bass fisheries in the world! Average size fish is usually 18 inches with many fish topping 20 inches! I guide for these fish starting the first Weekend in May and I don’t stop until the ice forms in December.
Lake Superior Walleyes
Lake Superior and it’s tributaries are home to some of the best walleye fishing in the area! I guide on The St.Louis River, Chequamegon Bay, and the South Shore of Lake Superior. Clients can expect multiple fish days and a shot at a GIANT at any time!
NW Wisconsin has many inland lakes with big Muskies in it. I guide on many of the lakes and rivers in Bayfield and Douglas Counties including The St.Louis River, Pike Chain, Eau Claire Chain, Namakagon, Amnicon, and many other small hidden gems. The average size Musky in my boat the past several years has been in the low 40’s with quite a few fish topping 4 feet. All Muskies caught will be released after a few pictures! For these trips clients need to bring a WI fishing license and Polarized Sunglasses.
Spring Steelhead River Fishing
In April only I guide on the many streams that flow into Lake Superior for the elusive Steelhead! These fish fight hard and are a blast to catch! Average size fish is usually in the low 20’s although we catch many topping the magical 26″ mark! For these trips clients need to bring Chest Waders, A WI fishing License, and an Inland Trout Stamp.
Inland Multi-Species Fishing
There are hundreds of Inland lakes all over Bayfield and Douglas Counties that have great Multi-Species fishing! Walleye’s, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Crappies, and Bluegills can be caught all year long! For those of you that don’t want to fish the big water this is the perfect trip!
